Walking Dead – Season 3, Episode 7 “When the Dead Come Knocking”

“You’re a pretty big snack for this fella, but you know what they say… He’s gonna be hungry again in an hour!” -Merle, as he tosses a walker in to devour Glenn, whose hands are taped to a wooden chair.

Other highlights:
-Carl is definitely coming into his own. Kid actor has a bright future ahead of him. Not only is he talented, but he’s also white.
-Michonne is holding her own as a new member of the group, but her eagerness to kill non-walkers makes me uncomfortable.

Red Tails

ImageGeorge Lucas couldn’t get Hollywood to finance Red Tails because of it’s all-black cast. “There’s no major white roles in it at all… We don’t know how to market a movie like this.”

This lack of Hollywood fortitude didn’t stop Lucas, who shelled out his own money for production, plus another $35 million for distribution. No one can say he didn’t VotePositive with his dollars. Now it’s your turn to VotePositive:

Walking Dead – Season 3, Episode 6 “Hounded”

WTF Michonne? I want to like you. Why do you need to be such cold blooded murderer?

Some of the best lines were spoken by Carl: “Shot my mom. She was out. Hadn’t turned yet. I ended it. It was real. Sorry bout your mom.”

“Whoa… You trust us. You stay here.”

“Whoa Merle,” They were right to keep their guard up. Too bad Merle was too quick for them.

We hope Glenn & Maggie find a way out of their predicament. Luckily Michonne found the formula and is making a delivery.

Scandal – Season 2, Episode 6

Scandal, Season 2, Episode 6. I was sincerely afraid that season two was going to go in the direction of Grey’s Anatomy or some of ABC’s other shitty shows. Fortunately for us, the writers aren’t engineering this show to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Love how they are developing Olivia Pope’s character. Especially loved the last scene:

Be careful though. When you’re finished watching this episode, close the browser window, or you’ll be inundated with garbage content that isn’t worth your time, like 666, Revenge, or Once Upon a Time.

Maggie gives Glenn a goodbye smooch before she heads out to find baby formulaImage

I want to like Michonne’s character but I hate the dialogue they give her. The cryptic and vague lines they give her must be tough for Danai Gurira to work with. How do they expect Michonne’s character to be believable when she says that town is not what it seems without giving any information to back it up? Do they think it will make her character more mysterious? No, it makes her seem like a moody little bitch. I don’t get why she can’t just tell Andrea what exactly she has seen. Her character could be so much more but the way she’s written makes me hate her. Let’s hope the writers give her better lines to work with in the future
